Cement Industry | International Field Service
Location - Europe (home office possible) – worldwide travel
About the Role:
We are looking for a Field Service Technician (m/f/d) for feeding and dosing systems in the cement and process industry.
The role is part of an international service organization supporting industrial equipment used in cement plants worldwide.
You will work mainly on-site at customer locations, responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and technical service of complex systems.
The position is based in Europe, but requires global travel. Most assignments are within Europe.
The role involves a very high level of travel activity and independent work in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of feeding and dosing systems at customer sites
- Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues in the field
- Maintenance, upgrades and optimization of existing installations
- Testing, calibration and final acceptance of equipment
- Technical support and training of customer personnel on site
- Acting as the main technical contact during field assignments
- Remote support for ongoing service cases when required
- Feedback of technical findings from the field to internal teams
Your Profile:
- Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar
- Strong mechanical understanding and hands-on technical skills
- Experience in field service, commissioning or industrial maintenance
- Confident communication with customers in technical environments
- Good English skills (spoken and written)
- High willingness to travel internationally (200+ travel days per year possible)
- Independent and solution-oriented working style
Nice to Have:
- Experience with feeding, weighing or dosing systems
- Background in cement, bulk material handling or heavy industry
- Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff)
